Ok so today at work, my manger and I decided to go get lunch. Well so I can stay on my life change, I looked up the restaurants around my job and I don't understand how they can serve stuff that bad!!!!!!
For instance there is a place that serves FABULOUS muffins with their salads. There is one that I am in love with and before I decided to get my life back together, I would eat two or three of these a week at lunch. Come to find out...that muffin is over 500 calories!!! WTF how is that possible!! So lets just say I am swearing off these muffins unless I have a really bad day and plan to hardly eat ANYTHING. I'm not even going to elaborate on how bad the food was for me. I am super stoked however at the fact that there is a mini dessert at a restaurant that I love and it is sinfully delicious and only... 100 calories!!!!!! YEA at least not everything I was eating is completely bad :)
So today was my rest day (mainly because I am insanely sore) and so that means tomorrow I will be getting up early and probably will be taking my lunch to work tomorrow, that way I will know what I'm eating...

Day One.....5:30 has an AM who knew???
So my day started at 5:30... Yes I said it 5:30. I began the day with a DVD work out with miss Marisa Tome and it kicked my butt! Yet it was fun and I am very sore, which is always a good thing when it comes to working out. Breakfast was a power bar that was really good.
I headed off to work around 8 with my huge jug -o- water (with crystal light flavoring) that I successfully drank all of it by the end of work. Super proud of myself! Plus who knew that counting calories wasn't so hard! Thanks to Google of course :) In the words of Edward....You can Google it (yes I am a twilght junkie). So after Googleing my lunch I'm super stoked to find out that a Bento Box at US Sushi isn't really that bad! Which I was insanely relieved at.
So after work I got home and decided to go for a walk. Miss Millie loved that! After the walk I came back and decided to cook a spaghetti squash for the first time! Did you know you can do that in a Microwave?? Even tho its decided to scream at me (the squash) 37sec. before it was done, it cooked and with a little spaghetti sauce and I have to say it was FABULOUS! Especially since all and all it was 162 calories!!!!! yes a dinner for only 162 calories!!!!! Yes I am a little too excited about this! Now I have calories to spare! What to do what to do???
So now its close to time for bed, and tomorrow morning..... Jillian Michaels will be working on me through my Husbands big screen. This should be interesting!

The much needed change....
First off my name is Jenni, I'm 22, and I'm over weight... Wow that was not easy. I have tried everything I can think of to loose weight including pills, diet plans, and expensive "miracle" weight loss equipment that DOESN'T WORK! So I've decided to do this the "hard way". I've decided to get up early and exercise (my dog Millie will LLOOOVEEE that) before work, count calories, and control my portion size. I guess I'm finally listing to Dr. Oz lol. To keep myself motivated and accountable I will be blogging everyday entering my weight weekly and working through my struggles and jumping for joy over my successes! This is not a Diet, this is a life change that will stick this time. That is a promise to myself.
Here we Go.......
